The company, a long-established manufacturer and supplier of hard coatings, aimed to expand its sales beyond the UK market as a way of improving margin and diversifying the risk in its customer base. While they had relied on an invoice finance provider for cash flow support over the years, this provider only funded UK debtors, limiting their ability to manage cashflow effectively for new overseas customers.

The primary challenge was to find a way to manage cashflow that would enable the acquisition of international clients. The company needed a solution that would complement their existing invoice finance facility whilst allowing them to seize new opportunities in overseas markets.

Solution

Newable Commerce stepped in with a Flexible Exporter Term solution that worked alongside the company’s existing invoice finance arrangement. Initially, we provided a £50,000 facility, which allowed the company to better manage its cash reserves and support its growth ambitions. As the company identified and secured further opportunities overseas, we increased the facility to £100,000, multi-draw, revolving term facility.
